Default I need some updates...

I havent played Guild Wars in a year and a half. My main was a monk healer, doing gvg and team arenas were my favorite. Now everything seems to have completely changed.

I am buying the other two expansions on Friday and need help.

Is there any complete resource for being a monk to catch up on the things I have missed. Ive looked all over this website, and some things are outdated, and have read things on the forums here that I dont even remember going on, new skills and such.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just dont want to seem like a newb when I start seriously playing again. Like word of healing not being a good spell anymore when I and many other monks in my old guild used it a lot.

almost every think you once knew has been A) nerfed, B) updated or C) fallen out of favor u seem to have been a pvp monk, take a look through observer menu to see what the top guilds play/Ha, start back off on RA work out soem builds then get it a guild and work your way up, im afrade the only think really is to start again like your new to the game, oh that and read the GVG forums and this monking forums just to see whats worth using and whats not

There is many threads around here giving tips about pvp monking, you should look at them.

the pvxwiki contains many build that were previously on guildwiki, try that too.

also, full heal is rare and hybrid monks dominate the meta. With elites like Light of Delivrance or healer's boon released, WoH has become obselete.

Thanks.

I actually found guildwiki but will check out the one you suggested. Ya I had a feeling I would have to basically start over again.

RC and SoD are still popular choices in PvP. Only difference is that WoH fails.

I wouldn't bother bying the full campaigns if PvP is the only thing or mostly that you do.I would get the pup packs as in player vs player unlocked profession skills or UAXed.That will get you all the elites you need for all 3 camps or 2.
